Training course on gender in the media

A gender training course organized by Internews, in partnership with the Metro Center, Awan, Peace and Freedom. With the support of SIDA

Internews is a global, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to empower local media around the world to give people the news and information they need, and the ability to communicate and communicate with their voice. Internews provides communities with the resources to produce local news and information fairly and independently. Through international experience and access, Internews trains both journalists and the media, provides innovative media solutions, increases coverage of critical issues and helps develop policies to access information.

SIDA is a government agency working on behalf of the Swedish Parliament and Government to reduce poverty in the world. Through our work and with others, we contribute to the implementation of Sweden's global development policy. We work together to implement a Swedish development policy that will create opportunities for the poor to improve their living conditions. Our task also includes a reform cooperation in Eastern Europe, which is funded by a special grant. The third part of our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need.
