Zhiyan le Kurdistan (Life in Kurdistan) is a seasonal magazine whose participants show the colorful life of the Kurdistan Region. "Sometimes an image has become the identity of a nation," they say.

Their photographs describe the communities of southern, northern, eastern and western Kurdistan, the first issue of the magazine was launched on May 21st, 2025, at Jamal Irfan Center, Sulaimani.

Amir Hassan, editor-in-chief of the magazine (Life in Kurdistan), Kardo Qadir, Balen Hussein, members of the writers' board and journalist Ahmad Sapan, visited us and presented several copies of the magazine to Metro.

In this issue, they see the country of the Nawras, then the village of Akhachur in the Nawshin region of Badlisa in North Kurdistan, then Bekodian Lake to the Akoyan diaspora, then the cameras go to Kobanê and Sinjar, then showing the nature, the people of Zorgvan, the scenery of Barzan region, the crafts of Kurdistan and other pictures.
