Metro Center participated in the anniversary of the assassination of journalist (Sorani Mama Hama) in (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle).

A representative of Metro Center says that journalists should be able to express their opinions without fear of retaliation and free from censorship.

In his speech, Chya Asad said that the passage of time over the incident of political terrorism and terrorism on freedom of expression and freedom of the press, whether it is a year or a century, does not mean it will be erasing the incident from public memory. What may ease our, yours and Sorani Mama Hama's family's concerns is the return of rights to the rightful owners and seeing the real perpetrators before a fair court.

He also pointed to the appearances of violence against journalists while covering citizens' protests.
