Representatives from Metro Center and Network 19 attended a GCHR course




On September 16th-21st, 2025, Nabaz Rashad, journalist and representative of Metro Center and Kani Omar, Head of Communications of Network 19 participated in a training course titled "Comprehensive Security assurance Training” by the Gulf Center for Human Rights.

In this context, the Gulf Center for Human Rights organized a training course for a number of activities at the level of Arab countries, in which, followed a new method of training that ensured comprehensive security, as opposed to traditional methods that focused only on one side. The training covered aspects such as digital security (protection of information and privacy), physical security (protection of personality), mental security (dealing with stress and fear), social security (protection of relationships and networks).

However, a number of organizations and personalities in this field held an open discussion, then with representatives of Network 19 organized a special meeting in order to coordinate and work together at the level of Arab countries and discussed ways to obtain financial support from international organizations.

The Gulf Center for Human Rights is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2011 by a number of human rights defenders in the Arabian Gulf and surrounding countries.
