On September 27th, 2025, Asuda Organization in collaboration with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) organized an open discussion on the issue of women's participation in decision-making centers. The coordinator of Metro Center spoke about the participation of women journalists in the media decision-making center.

Khanim Latif, President of Asuda Organization, delivered a welcoming speech and introduced the initiative entitled: Now is the time of Iraqi women, which aims to strengthen women's voices in different decision-making spheres. In addition to supporting their cause in cooperation and coordination with activists, organizations and influential personalities for this purpose, he also mentioned their meetings with the Political and Social Decision Center in Iraq.

"Our campaign is to call for all women to participate in building a more just and civilized society through joint work for the presence of women in decision-making centers," she said.

Hogar Cheto, President of PAO, presented the challenges and opportunities facing women in the November 2025 elections.

Cultural Topics Rejecting Women's Presence, Hateful Discourse by Dr. Muntaser Al-Hasnawi, Dr. Saad Salum, were presented.

Women's participation in political decision-making and the media was also presented by Nawal al-Mousawi and Rahman Gharib.

During the open discussion, the participants made several recommendations to implement the objectives of the initiative.
