On Sunday, September 28th, 2025, Metro Center’s coordinator, director and a number of its members visited the main forum of the Gorran Movement in Sulaimani and met with Dana Ahmad Majid, Secretary General of the Gorran Movement.
In the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Kurdistan and the issue of freedom of journalism and obstacles.
Both sides agreed to support the courage of journalism and the media to do its job professionally and avoid party hegemony.
It was noted that the media as the fourth power can always play its role in political, economic and social stability.
Dana Ahmad Majid thanked the activists of Metro Center for their continuity and support of the media work and Metro praised the support of the Secretary General of the Gorran Movement.
