On November 24th, 2025, Henrik Agnes, Head of the Levant Desk and Director of the Qarib Program at CFI, Qasim Khadr, Coordinator of CFI in Iraq and Media Consultant of the Qarib Program visited Metro Center. They were warmly welcomed by Metro’s and Alliance Network 19’s team.

Their visit was a good opportunity to discuss the situation of freedom of press and freedom of expression in the Kurdistan Region and to get acquainted with the latest work and activities of Metro Center and Network 19 for monitoring freedom of expression. They also discussed Metro's annual report on the situation of press freedom in the Kurdistan Region for 2025, which will be published in January next year.
