On February 19th, 2026, the team of Metro Center welcomed writer Farhad Salam. The purpose of his visit was to present his latest work to Metro Center entitled, (Journey in the twinkling of a kiss) which is a memoir and the story of 58 stages of his life.

This memoir is an important account about the hardships the author endured throughout his journey. It also reflects the will to build a new life in the face of difficult odds.

In discussing the book, Dr. Dilshad Mustafa writes:

For me, as a reader of Kurdish literature, this is the first time I have come across a complete work of this author, but I am amazed at this technique and realize that it is not so easy to achieve in his first writing experience. Of course, narrative techniques refer to style, language, desire, comparison, embodiment, depiction, and then plot, which together with the participation of some other details can create a special style for a writer.
