On Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, the team of Metro Center received Mr. Luqman Zindani, former Director of Azadi Channel and member of the Sulaymaniyah Branch of the Kurdistan Journalists' Syndicate along with Kirkuk's cultural figure Mr. Sabah.

The meeting discussed key issues related to human rights, journalists and freedom of expression and stressed the importance of upholding fundamental rights and developing an environment in which journalists can work freely and safely. Also, reports from Metro Center and Alliance Network 19 were another topic of discussion.

The meeting concluded with common views on continued dialogue and cooperation to promote transparency, accountability and respect for freedom of expression.
