Metro Center and Erada Media asked for the 16th anniversary of the assassination of journalist Sardasht Osman to be a stage to renew the message against the assassination of journalists and fight the phenomenon of impunity and remove the punishment of journalists Sherwan Sherwani and Qareman Shukri.

On Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, the team of Metro Center welcomed the writers of Erada Media, Mr. (Mohammed Mahmoud Hama Salih, Dr. Aziz Rauf, Hardi Abdullah).

The organizer of Metro Center warmly welcomed the writers of Erada Media and congratulated Dr. Aziz Rauf on his appointment as editor-in-chief.

Then, Erada Media’s team warmly welcomed the memorandum of understanding between Metro Center and Free Media Union signed in Rojava recently.

Both sides stressed the importance of free access to information and the dissemination of what is permitted by the Journalism Law and the Information Law, and to oppose any attempt to unjustly restrict information. Also, the Kurdistan Regional Government's medias should adhere to professional standards in publishing information free from hate speech and misleading information.
