On June 17th, 2026, in Erbil, on behalf of Metro Center, we participated in the Farewell ceremony of Ms. Ciska de Velt, Political Advisor of the Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region.

The Coordinator of Metro Center thanked Ciska for her attention to human rights issues, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, freedom of association, and especially for having direct contact with Metro Center and its goals. Metro’s coordinator wished Ciska de Velt every success in her future assignment.

Also, the event was an opportunity to meet live with many friends and colleagues of Metro Center.
