On July 4th, 2026, Kani Omar, representative of Alliance Network 19, participated in an open discussion titled "The fate of the Kurdistan Regional Government on the margins of political stalemate” at Draw Media Agency.
The discussion was organized for Mr. (Dr. Yousef Mohammed), former Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, in which a number of politicians, former parliamentarians, political observers and journalists were present.
During the discussions, the representative of Network 19, in addition to highlighting domestic, political and geopolitical factors as a threat to the structure of the region and the cause of political stagnation, she also referred to the network's reports on attempts to suppress free speech; "The reports have become a source of international concern and disappointment on the issue of good governance, the protection of human rights principles and freedom of expression.
