On July 15th, 2026, in the hall of Dengi Nwe Radio, in Halabja, within the framework of the #QARIB project, Metro Center and the French organization (CFI), organized a roundtable to discuss opportunities and challenges facing freedom of press and expression in Halabja province.

The roundtable was attended by journalists, activists and media officers of the city offices, in which an open discussion was held on the situation of freedom of expression and the working environment of journalism.

Metro Center likes to thank the city administration and Dengi Nwe Radio for their participation in the constructive discussion with the aim of creating a more favorable and open environment for freedom of expression and journalism.
