On Monday, August 31st, 2026, in Halabja province, within the framework of the Qarib project and in collaboration with the French organization CFI, Metro Center organized a consultation meeting on the media sphere.

The meeting was chaired by Nukhsha Nasih, Governor of Halabja and attended by the Directors General of Government Offices, representatives of Halabja Branch of the Journalists’ Syndicate, Diyaree Mohammed, Director of Metro Center and Mr. Qassim Khdr Hama, CFI Representative and Media Advisor in Iraq.

The meeting achieved several objectives, including addressing the development of the media sector in Halabja province, while developing stronger relations and increasing mutual understanding and improving relations and cooperation between journalists and government institutions in the region.

Metro Center would like to thank Nukhsha Naih, Governor of Halabja, for her assistance and coordination in organizing this meeting, which was an opportunity to discuss issues in order to resolve them and find common opportunities to work together in the future.
