On 26 October 2026, the Metro Center team welcomed a delegation from the Khanzad Cultural and Social Organization.

The meeting was held to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for a new project entitled "Civil Society Networks for the Prevention and Elimination of Forced and Early (Child) Marriage.”

The project is supported by the German organization HAUKARI e.V., led by the Khanzad Cultural and Social Organization, and implemented in partnership with DHRD, the Mastura Institute (MIPSS), Metro Center, and the PDO Organization.

The project aims to strengthen protection mechanisms; provide services, case management, and supervision; deliver legal and psychosocial support; offer training and capacity-building for the education and health sectors and directorates responsible for combating violence against women and domestic violence; raise public awareness; and conduct research.
