November 27th, 2025, Sulaimani, Metro Center calls on the media in the Kurdistan Region to act professionally and responsibly regarding the unwanted events in the Kurdistan Region and avoid prejudice and not cause chaos and heat up divisions among the political parties in the Kurdistan Region. Conflict and party and private agendas should not be mixed with sensitive issues.

Last night, November 26th, 2025, after the terrorist attack on the Kormor gas field, several media and pages on social networks in the Kurdistan Region, despite the recent bombing of Kormor and the formation of a committee of inquiry and condemning the world's powerful countries without accusing anyone with all their great security capabilities, but some media and Facebook pages close to the government deliberately and far from implementing the principles of journalism accuse and intensify political conflicts. Without knowing it, this is a destruction of national security.

As Metro Center, we call on the media to handle the events responsibly and not become part of the media war and private agenda. What else does this media discourse that is currently being carried out in some media and social networks close to the government reap for the Kurdish people except prejudice and chaos?

What some media outlets are doing is an irregular media discourse that has become a weapon in the hands of people who have an interest in chaos, so journalists must act very carefully and responsibly.
